New Build with Ecological Chimneys
We have submitted a planning application to build a large 5 bed home set in a Conservation Area. The design is based on a traditional and contemporary mix of styles. The central focus is on two large chimneys to the front facade which will contain bat and bird boxes helping to enhance the ecological impact of the development.
Grade II listed Mews House
Planning permission has been given to convert a derelict Mews House into an amazing 3 bed home with a terrace overlooking Canary Wharf. Cameron Architecture have designed the interiors in a mix of traditional and contemporary style to complement the history of the building.
We are currently working on a new commercial development for a diversification of a farm to create a new build barn style cycle café and dog daycare centre as well as a Bed and Breakfast hotel from an old stable block. The project when complete will be an amazing public venue for hundreds of dog walkers and cyclists.
Loft and Ground Floor Extension
We have successfully completed this extension project to a semi detached home. The extensions have added an extra bedroom and created a new open plan kitchen-diner with vaulted ceilings. The exterior is finished in charred timber cladding and contrasting render.
Self Builder Brick and Flint Bungalow
We have submitted a planning application to build a 3 bed detached wheelchair friendly bungalow. The design is traditional in style and has various sustainable features to reduce its impact on the environment and running costs for the new owner.
Grade II listed detached Property
We have recently been appointed to design a new oak frame extension to this grade II listed property. Cameron Architecture continue to take on many projects developing listed and historic buildings as it is a specialty of the company.
New 4 Bed
Currently at the pre-planning stage, we have been asked to design an eco-house which is to be sustainable, environmentally friendly and will meet the needs of 21st century open plan modern living. The building will be in dark grey bricks, western red cedar cladding and white render.
Cameron Architecture have recently finished a loft conversion which has been designed internally in a light and airy modern contemporary style. This particular project has allowed for another larger master bedroom and en-suite. The clever introduction of a Juliet balcony in the bedroom has given the clients amazing views to the park beyond.
New 4 Bed
Planning permission has been submitted for a new dwelling which will be clad in painted black timber cladding to contrast the brick, stone and clay tiles. The appearance is mainly traditional with a few contemporary details.
New 3 Bed
Currently under construction is a contemporary 3 bed dwelling which will be finished externally in a mix of render, timber cladding and slate tiles with aluminum window detailing. The interiors will be in a modern minimal style by using white finishes contrasted with timber and metal to give the interiors a strong sense of materiality.
6 Bed Roof
We are at the early stages of designing a roof extension to an existing 1970s bungalow. We are adding a new porch and new first floor renovating all of the inside and outside with timber, render, red brick and dark grey aluminum windows externally.
New Self Builder
Planning Permission has been gain for this split plot garden scheme to create a new 2 bed bungalow attached to the existing dwelling. The proposal allows 3 generations to live on the same plot, but have private and shared space for everyone.

We are currently converting an old school from 1906 to create a large entertainment space, 3 additional bedrooms, bathroom and en-suite. The spaces will be very generous with high vaulted ceilings and double height spaces.
New Build 4 Bed Chalet Bungalow
Planning permission has been submitted for a new 4 bed chalet bungalow. The design is mainly traditional with some contemporary details. The layout offers good size rooms, open plan living with a feature wood burning stove and chimney.
Timber Oak Frame Extension
We have designed a beautiful oak frame extension to a listed countryside building. The extension will be used for dining and entertaining purposes. A lot of glass has been used between the oak frames to make it light, spacious and enhance the views to the large garden areas.
